Britni West is a filmmaker, photographer, and union prop

from Montana and New York City.

With an eye for fleeting moments of humour and humanity, she specialises in verite-style camerawork for both fiction and documentary projects, most recently serving as a camera operator for all three seasons of the award-winning HBO series,

"How to With John Wilson."

She brings the same eye for humour and detail to her prop work, where she has worked as an on-set prop master for a number of directors including Luca Guadagnino, Amy Sedaris, Todd Solondz, Charlie Kaufman, and the Zellner Brothers.

As a filmmaker and photographer, her personal work focuses on the intricacies of family and group dynamics, the specificities of place, and the sharing of communal pleasures, large and small.

In 2015 she was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's

"25 New Faces of Independent Film"

and her debut feature film, Tired Moonlight, played all over

this wild world.
